The Singapore Airshow is back to wow the public with aerial performances and close-ups of 43 aircraft on display. Here’s a look at what it takes to get the biennial event off the ground.

It was a short journey from the airport to the show grounds, but the precise plans needed to ensure the plane can make its international debut here were months in the making.
