Recognize this truck? Deputies seek tips in San Marcos hit and run [Breaking]
Deputies are trying to identify the driver of a truck they say was involved in a hit and run crash that left a motorcyclist seriously injured in San Marcos earlier this month.
The crash happened just before 5:30 a.m. June 15 in the intersection of Grand Avenue and West San Marcos Boulevard, sheriff’s official said in a news release.Deputies arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist laying in the roadway. The 56-year-old man was taken to a hospital to be treated for serious injuries, and has since been released, Deputy James Clone said.
The bike slammed into the passenger’s side of the pickup. Authorities said the pickup driver took off without trying to help the injured motorcyclist. Passersby stopped to help the man and called 911, the deputy said. Deputies are seeking information about this truck, believed to have been involved in a hit and run crash that injured a motorcyclist in San Marcos early June 15. The damage to the passenger side is from the collision, authorities said.
