An intelligence report from the military's National Center for Medical Intelligence in November, compiled through wire and computer intercepting and satellite imagery, reportedly concluded that an outbreak of the virus"could be a cataclysmic event." After multiple briefings and vetting throughout December, an explanation of the warnings reportedly appeared in the President's daily intelligence reports in early January. It echoes a report last month from thethat intelligence officials through January and February were sounding the alarm of a probable pandemic as the president publicly downplayed the threat of the virus.
