Police were called to a reported shooting in southern York County on Monday.
Multiple officers responded to a reported shooting Monday morning in southern York County. The call went out just after 10 a.m. on Bald Eagle Road in Fawn Township. Police closed the road between Deer and Ridge roads and contacted the homeowners.
Pennsylvania State Police said the call was a swatting incident and that the homeowners had no idea.The investigation into who made the call is ongoing. PSP said they have not seen an uptick in swatting calls and believe this was an isolated incident.
