Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie wasn't pleased with the concluding question presented to him, which related to unidentified flying objects.

During Fox News's first Republican presidential primary debate, the moderators undertook a lightning round of questions before closing remarks on topics ranging from faith to education. Christie got a very different question; it concerned the recent spike in UFO sightings, to which he jokingly made his displeasure known.“I get the UFO question?” Christie replied when moderator Martha MacCallum mentioned UFOs in the introduction of her question.

“I think it's horrible that just [because] I’m from New Jersey, you asked me about unidentified flying objects and Martians,” Christie responded while laughing.“The job of the president of the United States is to level with the American people about everything.

"This is a dumb subject for a presidential debate ," journalist Megyn Kelly posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
