MSNBC host Joy Reid claimed on Thursday that Republicans along with the mainstream media are “gaslighting” women over concerns about inflation over abortion.
On Thursday, MSNBC host Joy Reid accused Republicans of gaslighting women voters into thinking inflation is more important than abortion prior to the midterm elections.
"The Republican effort to gaslight women voters. You don’t really care about abortion. All you care about is inflation. Got to feed your hubby and kids we’re going to make you have, right, gals? But guess what, reproductive rights are an economic issue," Reid said.MSNBC's Joy Reid accused Republicans of "gaslighting" voters on abortion.
A recent New York Times poll suggested independent female voters are heavily in favor of Republicans over the economy.
