Robert "Bob" Forbes, a retired U.S. Army sergeant from Camp Hill, is seeking the Democratic Party nomination for Congress from the 10th District.A retired Army sergeant from Camp Hill who is stressing deep ties to the 10th and a deep commitment to becoming part of the solution instead of the problems has added his name to the growing list of Democratic hopefuls for Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District.
“I am a true beneficiary of all PA 10 can offer a family,” Forbes said. “I am a substitute teacher in the Harrisburg School District, my sons learned to play hockey at Twin Ponds Rink, we are regular attendees of both Ford and Mopar Carlisle, I live in Camp Hill and... as a 100% disabled veteran related to combat I utilize the New Cumberland Army clinic as does my family.”
“My goals when elected are to introduce legislation laser focused on issues related to the PA 10th, and the only way to do this is to be a representative who understands our district’s needs,” Forbes said in a release announcing his campaign. “We don’t need outsiders or individuals who make losing this seat one of their hobbies.
