The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame closed out its summer concert series on one of the most beautiful evenings of the year (the temperature in the 60s with a slight breeze from the lake) and a band you can’t help but love.

The night began with Brooklyn, N.Y. power-pop band Charly Bliss, whose lead singer Eva Hendricks was as excited as anyone to be there. You could feel the joy radiating from her voice. . “A Praise Chorus” turned into the singalong it’s meant to be while “Sweetness” had people in the audience air guitaring and drumming their hearts out. Other highlights included the driving guitars of “Big Casino” and the boisterous new single “Something Loud.”
