Roundup: Harlan advances to regional volleyball tournament for third time in a row

Harlan, who defeated Warren twice during District 29-6A play, eliminated the Warriors in the same round of the playoffs for the third year in a row. The Hawks advanced to the regional tournament despite graduating 12 from a team that won 29 matches last year. United will face Austin Lake Travis in the other regional semifinal at 7 p.m. The regional final will be at 11 a.m. Saturday.Leander Rouse defeated Smithson Valley 25-11, 25-18, 25-18 in a Region IV-5A quarterfinal Tuesday at Fredericksburg.
