Giuliani earned the title of “America’s Mayor” after leading the people of New York City in the wake of the tragedy of September 11, 2001. On Friday, Giuliani appeared on a Newsmax segment about the anniversary of the attacks."I guess the best way to describe it is it was the worst day of my life and in some ways, you know, the greatest day of my life in terms of my city, my country, my family," Giuliani said on Newsmax.
