The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) in Singapore has seized over S$1 million worth of illicit drugs, including 11.8 kg of cannabis, during an operation that resulted in the arrest of four Singaporean nationals.

Four Singaporean individuals have been apprehended by the Central Narcotics Bureau ( CNB ) during a drug bust that yielded over S$1 million (US$730,000) worth of illicit substances. The haul includes approximately 11.8 kg of cannabis. The arrests occurred on Saturday afternoon at a carpark in the Cassia Crescent area, near Geylang and Mountbatten. A 27-year-old man was found with a substantial quantity of heroin, Ice, ecstasy tablets, and Erimin-5 tablets.

A subsequent search of a nearby vehicle linked to the suspects uncovered 11.78 kg of cannabis. CNB officers also discovered additional drugs, including heroin, Ice, ketamine, ecstasy tablets, and Erimin-5 tablets, during a follow-up raid at the 27-year-old's suspected hideout. CNB stated that the seized drugs could potentially sustain the addiction of approximately 4,590 drug abusers for a week. The bureau emphasized its commitment to combating drug trafficking and has doubled its preventive drug education efforts
