By the time 90 minutes had been played both teams still held onto their unbeaten streaks after the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
“We continue our 26-game undefeated streak at home,” San Antonio head coach Alen Marcina said. “That’s not an easy thing to do. El Paso is a very good team.” “It was a good ball in by Jorge and I was able to get a head on it,” Taintor said. “I was fortunate to help the team with the goal.” Twice in the first half San Antonio thought they had gone up 2-1 only for both goals to be waved off by an offside call. The first was in the 14th minute when Justin Dhillon headed the ball into the goal from an offside position.
