“Eliminating fees, increasing convenience and providing faster access to paychecks through direct deposit, we’re saving our membership millions of dollars,” Lindsay Sacknoff, the bank’s general manager of omnichannel, said in a statement.On ExpressNews.com:that USAA intended to stop charging the $2 ATM fee every time a member made a withdrawal at a non-USAA network ATM.
On Dec. 8, USAA Bank stopped charging a $29 fee for nonsufficient funds, known as NSF, for each transaction it declined or returned unpaid when an account’s available balance wasn’t enough to cover the transaction.
