San Marcos Police are investigating two burglaries at the Village on Telluride student apartments on Sept. 17.
The San Marcos Police Department is still looking for the suspect behind two burglaries in a student housing apartment complex.
She believed that the man was a friend from her work. After speaking to the man, she was able to get a closer look at the suspect. Quintanar said the suspect quickly ran out of the apartment, departing with a stolen cell phone and car keys. "We were talking about like, 'oh, does anyone have any camera footage from last night?' And a few people that lived near me, they did, and they had him on camera," said Quintanar. "He was not some random college student, he was like going to houses seeing what was locked, what was unlocked.""So, my roommates and I, we got extra deadbolts for our bedroom doors and our balcony doors.
