The youngest daughter of former President Barack Obama will start classes at the University of Michigan on Tuesday, the Detroit News reported.
“I was walking by pushing a vacuum, and she walked out right in front of me,” said Zach Lassen, a third-year film student. “I said, ‘Excuse me.’ It was a crowded hallway with her and some Secret Service dudes.” But at least one other Class of 2023 enrollee was said to have seen the 18-year-old this week near the university’s undergraduate library and called the 44th president’s second daughter “a normal student to me.”
