Sassa reminds beneficiaries of alternative forms of payment

Sassa recently informed its beneficiaries of other alternative forms of payment they can choose to receive their social grant.

“Clients should bring their ID, official proof from the bank that the account is in the applicant’s name and a client will then complete a form from SASSA where they consent to their social grant money being paid into their confirmed personal bank account. Mosia said should there be monies in the previous card that the client used to receive their social grant, that money must be withdrawn, as only money for the coming month will be paid into the new account.
