Chilling image as armed officers escorted students at Saugus High School following reports of an assault with a deadly weapon, only to learn it was a SWATTING call. The school was the site of a deadly shooting in 2019 that claimed the lives of 2 students

Friday afternoon after deputies received reports of four students with possible gun shot wounds.

At approximately 1:45 p.m. the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station received the call and immediately responded to the school located at 21900 Centurion Way. Deputies searched the campus but found no victims, evidence of a shooting, nor any credible threats. An all clear was given around 2:30 p.m. Images from SkyFOX showed parents gathering on campus as well as numerous patrol cars parked in the area. Students were escorted to safety.

According to the sheriff's office, multiple cites around the county appear to be receiving similar calls, believed to be "swatting calls."
