Commuters were riding on an MRT train on the North East Line when water started leaking from the air-conditioning system on July 4.
A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and said that it was 'raining in the MRT' when she boarded the train at Outram Park MRT Station at about 9.50pm.In response to a Stomp query, SBS Transit spokesperson Mrs Grace Wu said:"There was water leakage on board one of our trains on 4 July 2023 due to a component failure in the air-conditioning system."We apologise to affected passengers for the inconvenience caused.
