123-year-old Schwinn's new Vantage e-bike will be available only on Amazon, a first for the company

The Vantage FXe features 250 watts of power from a Bosch Performance Line Cruise drive system, and provides pedal-assistance up to 32 kph. It retails for $3,499.99. The Vantage RXe uses the Bosch Performance Line Speed drive unit offering 350 watts of power and pedal-assistance up to 45 kph. The RXe retails for a cent under $4,000.

Both models are available in the U.S. from today. If sales hit targets the models will then become available on Amazon stores in Europe.tates that e-bikes must be pedal-assist only – that is, no throttles – and the battery assistance has to cut out at 25 kph.
