Qatar Airways nudged Singapore Airlines down to second place at Skytrax's 2024 World Airline Awards.

Budget carrier Scoot , owned by Singapore Airlines , was named the world's best long-haul low-cost airline in 2024 at Skytrax's World Airline Awards on Monday . This is the fourth consecutive year that the budget airline has taken top spot. Malaysian carrier AirAsia, meanwhile, was named best low-cost carrier for the 15th time.
SIA did, however, clinch several awards this year, including world's best cabin crew, world's best first class airline, and best airline in Asia.
