'Gigging in care homes is my favourite place to gig because I love old people'
ITV's singing competition Starstruck returned to our television screens on Saturday night and a Scots contestant has sailed his way through to the final, with a powerful Meatloaf performance he 'performs in care homes'.
Before his performance he said: "I don't sing because I want to be a big diva, I sing because I want to uplift and make people happy. It was left down to the audience to pick who they thought was the best singer - and that was William. Elsewhere, a contestant left her Scots partner wowed after he heard her sing live for the very first time.
