Mr Morrison was trapped inside a University of Queensland building after refugees protesters slinging red paint and tomatoes ambushed him.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison was briefly trapped inside a university building during the demonstration. About 50 protesters assembled this morning at the university's institute of bio-engineering and nanotechnology during the prime minister's visit. Police officers formed a barrier outside the building entrance where refugee activists carrying red paint and tomatoes are chanting "lock up Scomo".Mr Morrison's motorcade was vandalised and he was stuck inside while security worked out an exit plan.
