Former Ohio Satte football receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba will undergo surgery after suffering an injury in the Seattle Seahawks' last preseason game.
Smith-Njigba suffered a hamstring injury on opening night of the Buckeyes’ 2022 season, against Notre Dame. He twice attempted to return from the injury, but the hamstring noticeably affected his performance.
He finally shut down for the season prior to OSU’s Peach Bowl playoff semifinal game against Georgia and began preparing for the NFL Draft combine.Seattle opens the season at home against the Los Angeles Rams on Sept. 10.
