from Notre Dame is another one. I love how he rushes the passer. I’m excited to get around a bunch of great athletes and compete. When it’s all said and done, I expect to have a brotherhood on the defensive side of the ball. That brotherhood comes naturally and I’m excited to experience that at the Senior Bowl.
KJ Henry: I’m an athletic, twitchy rusher. I really lean on my ability to work the edge. I like keeping offensive tackles honest by working in some power. I love the finesse moves first and foremost. I played basketball in high school and I have a natural athletic profile in my background. That helps me navigate my path to being a successful pass rusher.
KJ Henry: I give 100% of that credit to our coaching staff. They’ve helped me develop that aspect of my game. Setting the edge and defending the run speaks to your physicality. I’ve worked on that since I first arrived on campus. My position coach Lemanski Hall and our defensive coaching staff have really instilled that in me. I have to earn the right to rush the passer and that starts with stuffing the run on early downs. I’ve learned to love that aspect of the game.
I’m confident in what I can display no matter who’s in front of me. I’m looking forward to addressing whatever’s asked of me. I’m prepared for everything they can throw my way. The Senior Bowl is going to allow me to put the pads on and play football as you said. I’m excited to showcase my effort level as well.
