Riley Williams’ new sentencing date was set on March 23, when she will stand before Federal Judge Amy Jackson in the L. Barrett Prettyman Courthouse in Washington, D.C.—just down the road from where she helped direct rioters on Jan. 6, 2021. Prosecutors initially accused Williams of stealing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s laptop, before putting her on trial for aiding and abetting its theft., but did find her guilty of civil disorder; resisting or impeding certain officers; entering entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly conduct in a capitol building; and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a capitol building.
