The NYPD is investigating two separate shootings that left two men dead in the Bronx early Saturday morning.
At 4:30 a.m. on May 6, officers from the 48th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding a man shot at 4371 Third Avenue. Upon their arrival, police determined that a 29-year-old man was shot in the chest at the location.
The victim was taken by private means to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.At the same time Saturday morning, officers from the Bronx’s 40th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding a man shot in the vicinity of East 139th Street and Morris Avenue. Upon their arrival, cops found another 29-year-old man lying on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the head.
Paramedics responded to the location and declared the victim dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.About the Author
