Seven candidates taking their Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) and N-level exams were late on Sept 30 due to train service disruptions on the East-West Line (EWL). The Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) confirmed that all seven candidates arrived before the end of their papers and were given time to settle down.

SINGAPORE - Seven candidates sitting the Primary School Leaving Examination and N-level exam on Sept 30 were late due to theon the East-West Line , said the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board .

Around 5,400 candidates - including about 130 private candidates - took the Normal -level mathematics and N-level additional mathematics papers. The board added that two candidates, including a private candidate, were late for the N-level mathematics paper in the afternoon session.
