State officials are helping the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency clean up its act as The City prepares to host dignitaries and other heads of state next month as part of the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.
The grant money will go toward transit stations, bus stops and other public spaces in downtown, the South of Market neighborhood, portions of Chinatown and the entire Muni metro system, including its stations and all raised platforms.
