“Señorita,” fans have had a lot of questions about the pair, the song, and what it all means. But when one person asked Shawn about the duet at a recent Q+A, the singer’s answer proved to be less than satisfying for some fans., Shawn answered some questions during his recent tour stop in Tampa, Florida on July 27. However, after a fan asked what inspired him to write “Señorita,” he didn’t exactly offer any clarity.
“What inspired me to write ‘Señorita?’” Shawn echoes in the video with a laugh before standing up. “I love you guys, have a great time.” From there, he blows a kiss to the audience and exits the stage, while the crowd erupts in laughter.Now, it’s entirely possible that Shawn had run out of time, or that there was some other explanation for why he didn’t answer the fan’s question.
