What gives me pause is that two grand juries declined to indict Watson on nine sexual misconduct charges. Until Watson has his day in civil court, shouldn’t we err on the side of “innocent until proven guilty?” The Browns did, and they apparently like the odds. Time will tell if it was worth the gamble.Deshaun Watson signed one of the richest contracts in football, while Colin Kaepernick is unable to play. This is very reflective of our society’s priorities, injustices, and contradictions.
