HBO’s first Season 6 trailer offers a (slightly) more embarrassing congressional testimony than the real Silicon Valley
series, which resumed production this year. Season five wrapped in May of 2018; the hiatus was a consequence of creators Mike Judge and, while Judge is working on several new comedies for the network.
“Silicon Valley has been a career and life highlight for us. We’ll miss it desperately, but we’ve always let Pied Piper’s journey guide the way, and Season Six seems to be the fitting conclusion,” said the pair at the time. “We are forever indebted to our incredible cast, crew and partners at HBO. At a certain point, there’s only so much we can do to make the world a better place.”
