Kevin Goh, CEO of the Singapore Chess Federation , emphasized the importance of exposing youth with disabilities to chess, highlighting its ability to foster self-confidence and inclusivity.
Goh, a chess grandmaster himself, pointed out that Singapore currently lacks a strong training program for individuals with disabilities and believes efforts should be intensified. German chess grandmaster Thomas Luther, who serves as the training director for Singapore Chess Federation, demonstrated playing chess simultaneously with 10 players during a showcase event
