Singapore detains two men accused of seeking to join IS.
Two Singaporeans accused of intending to join the Islamic State group in Syria have been detained without trial under the city-state’s tough security laws, authorities said Thursday.
They were arrested in two separate cases under the Internal Security Act, which allows for detention without trial for up to two years. He donated funds to Zahran and his group, though investigators did not find any indication that he was involved in the attacks, the ministry said.
