The Singapore Discovery Centre is the first museum in Singapore to generate more electricity than it consumes. The decades-old attraction became energy-positive after generating about 30 per cent more energy on average than it needed from October to February.
It has installed more than 4,000 solar panels across its premises and energy-saving technologies have cut its energy consumption by almost 70 per cent since 2019. Jeraldine Yap reports.
