During the 2015 SEA Games, held in Singapore, she participated in the women's 5000m event. Between these competitions, Satianathan pursued higher education, earning a master's degree in applied linguistics from Australia. She then dedicated herself to teaching full-time at Innova Junior College. Her passing has left a profound impact on those who knew her, with tributes emphasizing not only her achievements but also her enduring influence as a mentor and friend
