The man, who had booked the unit for six days from December 15th to December 21st, was found unresponsive and naked on the sofa when Er entered the property after repeated failed attempts to contact him on his check-out day. The initial communication with the man was reportedly smooth and polite, which made the subsequent events even more surprising for Er. \Upon entering the unit, Er was immediately hit with the strong odor of vomit. The man, despite multiple attempts to wake him, remained unresponsive. After confirming he was still breathing, Er contacted the authorities. The hospital later informed Er that the man attributed his condition to bak kut teh he had consumed earlier. The extent of the damage was substantial, with Er estimating that approximately 80% of the unit required attention. Almost all of the furniture, except for the TV and washing machine, needed to be replaced due to the contamination. The cost of repairs and replacements amounted to $1,430.
