Ge, now 36, launched a live-stream session on Monday night after Wang’s divorce was made public. The session was watched by more than 100,000 people. She could not stop smiling as Chinese singer Wowkie Zhang’s cheery song Bei’er Shuang played in the background.
Ge said she would give her daughter some time to get over the divorce between Wang and Zhang before considering contacting her daughter.
