ICYMI: Six concerts to look forward to this month in Saskatoon

The concert features the Saskatoon première of a 1921 trio recalling the experiences of the First World War by Rebecca Clarke and the Dumky Trio by Dvorak, based on the Ukrainian word Dumka, which means thought or reflection. The performances is dedicated to the people of Ukraine.
“We are excited to present two wonderful trios … which take us on a journey through life’s joys and sorrows, recalling both moments of laughter and moments of deep reflection, both ending with a life-affirming positive energy,” said artistic director Kathleen Solose.or at the door. The concert will also be presented in live stream.Canadian musician, comedian and author Jann Arden was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2020.
“I’m so excited to play Saskatoon this summer! It seems like I’ve always been there in the thick of winter — so this is going to be a treat! Such wonderful audiences and such a beautiful river valley to walk my dog,” she said.
