MOVING ON: The Philadelphia 76ers punched their ticket to the Eastern Conference Semi-Final round on Thursday defeating the Toronto Raptors 132-97.
Philadelphia will play the top-seeded Miami Heat in the next round of the 2021-2022 NBA Playoffs. Miami handily defeated the Atlanta Hawks 4-1 in their opening round matchup that wrapped up Tuesday.
The Sixers only lead by 1 point at halftime, then came out of the gates firing to take a commanding lead in the third that they never relinquished. Joel Embiid lead the team in scoring with 33 points, and James Harden netted 15 assists and 22 points. Rookie Tyrese Maxey also netted 25 points.
