Sixers Want To Re-Sign James Harden But Not 'Desperate' To Do So - RealGM Wiretap
The Philadelphia 76ers would like to re-sign James Harden, but they believe there are alternate paths they can take if he does to decide to leave the franchise in free agency. Harden has been most closely linked with the Houston Rockets should he leave the Sixers.
"The Sixers are not desperate," said Brian Windhorst of re-signing Harden."While they absolutely want James Harden back, and I think there's a way they can play together and still be highly successful, the Sixers have other moves they can make. If Harden walks, they have cap space. They have tradeable contracts. They have things they can do. Harden is important but not the end all and be all for the 76ers.
