SNL's Cecily Strong got emotional during her goodbye, saying through tears, “It’s just my time now... I feel really lucky that I got to have so many of the best moments of my life in this place, with these people that I love so much.”
“I think it’s actually gonna give me some much-needed stability. And I’m not so scared cause I’ve got friends on the inside, and they seem to be doing OK,” she explained, throwing to a photo of Kate McKinnon and Aidy Bryant in prison, covered in tattoos.
Then, tearing up, Strong broke character a bit, saying, “It’s just my time now. But I had a lot of fun here, and I feel really lucky that I got to have so many of the best moments of my life in this place, with these people that I love so much.”
