The highway had been closed since Feb. 14 because a section of the road was washed out and had to be repaired. Crews on Thursday poured concrete to bring a 100-foot stretch of the road up to the level of the existing highway. Asphalt was laid Friday to complete the job.in Big Bear Lake, which report a base depth of 44 to 60 inches., bringing the season total to 33½ feet. The resort expecting more snow today. A new storm is expected Tuesday.
