No messing about. Bought a sensational new one spotted on instagram. A floral number from JD Williams. Feel like Lorraine Kelly. A style icon in anyone’s world. Roasted the greatest new potatoes of my life. Oil, salt and rosemary. Should write a book. My Life with Potatoes.Had to be out of the house early so had two breakfasts. First at home, second, sourdough in a fancy bakery. Came with sour cream and jam.
Have got Love Island withdrawal. Don’t know what to do of an evening. Keep wondering what they might be doing. And who’s staying in that villa now. And do they all have to share a bedroom. Thankfully the new series of Gameface with Roisin Conaty is on so that’s some comfort. Spag bol for tea. The best.My external hard drive has packed up. Having a morning of procrastination so decided to find the number and call them. Lovely girl helped me. Think she may have been in The Netherlands.
Date night so went out for dinner. Was all sharing plates. Completely over ordered and couldn’t finish the very shiny nocellara olives. Asked if I could take them home and the waiter couldn't have been more accommodating. Popped a bit of mozzarella in for me as well. Divine.Had a dream Jon snogged Stacey Dooley. Told him in the morning and he wouldn’t apologise. Argued he was asleep and didn’t do anything wrong. Said I’d be the judge of that.
Starving so made a terrific sandwich. Pesto, few spinach leaves and feta. Was quite a hefty block of feta but put the lot in because there’s no such thing as too much feta. June in London. Said she’d making a cake to bring round. Instead of buying the ingredients when she arrived, she weighed them out and brought them with her. Packed in her case. Apart from the Stork butter. Obviously. An unfamiliar oven sabotaged her and she couldn’t get the rise she wanted. Looked like someone had sat on it.
