SpaceX is making final preparations for its all-civilian PolarisDawn mission, which is expected to involve the first spacewalk by non-professional astronauts.
This year should see the launch of SpaceX’s Polaris Dawn mission, a follow-up to the successful Inspiration4 voyage that sent four private citizens to low-Earth orbit for three days in 2021.
Related The Polaris Dawn mission is also set to perform the first-ever commercial spacewalk, using SpaceX-designed spacesuits. During the mission, the Polaris Dawn crew will also carry out scientific research aimed at advancing both human health on Earth as well as our understanding of human health during future long-duration spaceflights.
