Former Brophy Prep football/track star Devon Allen, who found Olympic fame, feels his father has been with him on his NFL journey with the Eagles.

"It's very similar to this," the former Phoenix Brophy Prep two-sport star said."Obviously, we're in a big stadium, thousands of people, lots of cameras around, people interviewing everybody. But it's just one team as opposed to 2,000 athletes. It's pretty special and I'm soaking it all in." After the Eagles defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC title game, Allen tweeted about his dad, saying,"Man! We going to the Super Bowl? Pops is definitely in on this one"January 30, 2023
"I remember talking to him as a sophomore and asking him, 'What are your goals in life?'"Molander said."He said, 'I want to win an Olympic gold medal and I want to play in the NFL.' He's almost achieved both of them." "I think that's the beauty of team sports," Allen said."In football, especially. That's why I love it."
