.Spotify unveils new pride-themed playlists from the case of PoseOnFX PoseFX

Whether it’s on the runway of a ball, playing from a boombox on the street or even coming from the mouths of Billy Porter and Mj Rodriguez, the show has always found a way to showcase queer anthems.
Billy Porter’s playlist, for example, is titled “The Category Is: Love Yourself.” Along with including the star’s new single of the same name, the playlist features anthems of self-empowerment, including dance classics like Cheryl Lynn’s “Got to Be Real”, Madonna’s “Vogue” and more. The other playlists follow similar themes -- Mj Rodriguez’s playlist is based around “power,” Indya Moore’s on “New Day,” and Dominique Jackson’s on “beauty.”board in an exclusive statement.
The new playlists are a part of Spotify’s ongoing Pride month initiative. This year, the company is focused on the theme “Taking the Stage,” to uplift those who have used their platforms to stand up for LGBTQ rights.
