Squid Game 2 stars Park Sung-hoon and Kang Ha-neul tried their hands at traditional games from Malaysia and Singapore in a promotional video for the streaming platform. The video, released on New Year's Eve, featured the actors alongside other cast members like Lee Jung-jae, Wi Ha-jun, Yim Si-wan, Yang Dong-geun, and Jo Yu-ri, playing various childhood games from around the world. While Jung-jae failed at the Filipino game Tumbang Preso, Jo Yu-ri succeeded in hitting the target.
For the Malaysian and Singaporean games, goli panjang and batu seremban (five stones), Ha-neul struggled, but Sung-hoon impressed with his skills, effortlessly completing all four stages of the five stones game
