NEW: Kayleigh McEnany, a spokeswoman for Trump's 2020 reelection campaign, will replace Grisham as White House press secretary
Stephanie Grisham has been ousted as the White House press secretary as President Donald Trump's new chief of staff, Mark Meadows, reorganizes West Wing staff, CNN reported on Tuesday.
The New York Times reported shortly after CNN's story broke that Kayleigh McEnany, a spokeswoman for Trump's 2020 reelection campaign, would replace Grisham as the White House press secretary. Since taking over as press secretary after Sarah Huckabee Sanders departed the White House last June, Grisham never held a White House briefing, as is customary for press secretaries.
