Steve Harvey isn't letting the haters get him down.
In case you missed it, during Miss Universe 2019 on Sunday, the host of the international beauty pageant
while speaking with Miss Colombia Gabriela Tafur about his infamous snafu in 2015, in which he accidentally announced her as the winner. "You've forgiven me [but] the cartel has not," he said, adding, "They're not handling it the same way." The comment immediately sparked online backlash from critics who felt it was offensive and inappropriate.
"Quit tripping every time something negative happens to you," Harvey tweeted early Monday, along with a video of himself saying,"Now, listen, some bad things are gonna happen to you. That's life. Know that. The road to success is always under construction."
