Not all warnings sent out through government infrastructure in 2022 were province-wide. Tornado-related alerts, for example, are specific to the affected region. As well, the first two alerts about the tragedy at James Smith Cree Nation went out only to an area northeast of Saskatoon, according to information available on the provincial government website. And not all were intrusive.
The series of alerts issued around the time of the incidents in the Indigenous communities were not the only ones to make headlines.Article content
